I went to see the new Wallace and Gromit film last night. It was ace. Especially as that was preceeded by a day of relaxing, playing computer games and being very laid back indeed. It's nice to be able to award days like that to yourself now and again.

Things are very hectic with work and studying at the moment, one of the contributing factors why I have had a bad cold in the last few days. I'm supposed to be attending a magazine launch tomorrow night which should be fun, and seeing Thomas Truax on Thursday when he plays The Tin Angel.

My resolution is to save my money up so I can have a chance to go to one of the ATP's next year, particuarly the weekend curated by Sleater Kinney. Lots of careful planning will have to go into place though as it'll be a busy time for me. I am going to the Christmas ATP curated by Mars Volta and that should be a great way to relax after a hectic term (is it only just going into Week 4?!). I've been to some great gigs recently too, I went to see Bearsuit last week who were great though probably not everyone's cup of tea. I also went to see viva voce / clor / the departure / the kooks. If you're going to buy one record by those musican's make it Viva Voce - think Breeders and Joy Zipper but better. I've been listening to some good stuff too, thanks to a record fair and a crazy MVC sale (still!) which helps as I'm continuing with the RaW indie show this year too. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new Fiery Furnaces album this week too.

That's about it from me. Back to the sleep/work/lectures/eat/study/sleep pattern for the week!
